Can You Open The Door? continues an investigation into the nude body as a form of artistic expression. Developed in a studio context, the project emerges from a period of technical learning, but above all from a sensitive engagement with the specificities of that space: controlled light, silence, and the limits and possibilities of the body on stage.
Through torsions, objects, and a deliberately ambiguous atmosphere, the photographs construct a refined and classical aesthetic, where whiteness and simplicity prevail. The body appears simultaneously exposed and protected, oscillating between presence and fragility.
The fixation on the nude body is not recent. It holds a space of shelter and surrender, becoming the means through which it is possible to observe and express the human condition. After a period marked by depression and dissociation, this project reflects a more attentive and delicate gaze toward the body—its vulnerabilities, pains, and tensions.
Sexuality, far from being merely representational, asserts itself as a space of exposure, desire, and conflict, becoming an inevitable element within the work.
